We had a great time at the Foote Family Reunion on August 2nd. This is Joel's mom's side of the family and most of them live in Orange County. The reunion was at Joel's grandma's house, or Nana, as everyone calls her. We played volleyball, badminton, ping pong, shuffleboard, board games, and had great luau food. The kids had fun playing in their grass skirts and blowing bubbles. It was a fun time for all!

Weeding is wonderful
In just one month, our weeds have grown like crazy. Our goal is to keep them from overtaking the backyard until we actually put in grass and sprinklers. But after just an hour of hoeing one section, I had the biggest allergy attack of my life. So bad that Joel had to rush to the store to get me some medicine. My adventures in weeding might come to an end after that experience.
Happy Birthday, Joel!
Happy birthday to Joel! I hope you enjoy the videos of the kids saying happy birthday. Julianna had just woken up, so she wasn't very happy. But Blake had fun saying happy birthday.
Don't worry, Cindel, I didn't forget about you! Happy birthday to my cool, talented, amazing sister. I hope you had a great day, too!

Memory Game
How you play is...leave a comment describing a memory of us together. Then post this on your blog and I'll come comment a memory on yours. It's fun remembering things that have happened, and being reminded of things you've forgotten.

We're back, bloggers, and we have a new toad friend
We finally got our internet set up and can post some pictures for you all. Scroll down to see the new posts. Now I just have to read all your blogs to catch up!
We've had two toad sightings at our new house--one was late at night 2 days after we moved in. I was leaving to go to the store, and right by our door was a toad! We didn't think much of it until a few days later, the same toad was in our garage! Joel caught it and let the kids (really only Blake) touch it. We decided to name him "Warren." We haven't seen him since then, but I have a feeling he's still around somewhere.
Blake helping out and making messes, too
Moving fun!
Our move went so well thanks to all the help from the ward and my family! We can't thank you all enough! Here are some pics of our move.
At the end of the moving day, Julianna kept making this really funny face. Joel and I laughed so hard--partly because we were so tired, and partly because it really was a funny face!
The following Monday, Grandma came to help out again, and for dinner we had McDonalds. Here's Blake enjoying his food.
